Riversong, a China-based brand has launched two fitness trackers for the Indian market dubbed as the Wave BP and Wave Fit. With these products, the company is looking to bring affordable yet feature-packed fitness tracking wearables to the masses. Both fitness trackers will work alongside an app that is required to be installed on your smartphone to sync data with.
At the launch event, the brand’s founder, Liu Chunming stated, “We are committed in providing an extension to the fitness goals while keeping the outlook for having fun intact.“
The Wave Fit features a 0.91-inch OLED display up front capable of showing your daily data such as steps, distance covered and calories burnt. The band draws power from a 90mAh battery located underneath it. The band is capable of tracking your sleep activity and heartbeat through the heart rate sensor embedded on its back. When paired with your smartphone through Bluetooth, the smart tracker will also be able to show you data such as missed calls, incoming calls, texts, and other notifications.
The Wave BP features more enhanced set of sensors capable of sensing with greater accuracy. On the front, the Wave BP rocks a slightly smaller 0.87-inch OLED display. This band feeds off a 50mAh battery pack. In addition to the Fit, the Wave BP also offers sensing of blood pressure through its on board heart rate sensor.
Both the products are connected via separate apps that can be downloaded from Google’s Play Store: H Band 2.0 for Wave BP and RS Band for Wave FIT. The fitness trackers are up for grabs through Amazon India for Rs 3,299 and Rs 2,199 for the Wave BP and Wave FIT respectively.
