Chinese smartphone manufacturing company Coolpad is all set to introduce a new smartphone in India on September 23. Coolpad has reportedly started sending out press invites, which reads “Beast Among The Best.” While there are no details available at this point, the poll results on Coolpad forum reveal that users are expecting 4GB RAM this time. Initially, users were expecting a smartwatch until the company made it clear on its forum that it is launching a new phone.
Coolpad, in its recent Facebook note, said that the company received a huge response on its Note series. The Note series currently comprises of the Coolpad Note 3, Note 3 Plus and Note 3 Lite. The company also hinted that it is now gearing up to introduce “more top of the line gadgets.” Considering what the above image reads, the phone may have high-end specifications to offer.
Last month, a Coolpad phone (A9S-9) was found listed on TENAA, the same device was spotted on GFXBench a month earlier. The benchmark results reveal that the phone has a 5.5-inch Full HD display. The device will be powered by MediaTek MT6757 SoC, which is clocked at 2.3GHz. For graphics, the phone packs in Mali-T880 GPU. The Coolpad A9S-9 comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM.
The benchmark further reveals that the device has a 12-megapixel primary camera as well as an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone also has a fingerprint scanner on the back, which was a key attraction with the Coolpad Note 3 and Note 3 Lite. Although there is no confirmation, we think Coolpad may launch the A9S-9 in India.
