Coolpad Mega 3 & Note 3S to Launch in India on November 30th

Chinese cell phone maker Coolpad is reportedly gearing up to launch two new phones in India, allegedly the Note 3S and Mega 3. There are various reports hinting that Coolpad is now sending press invites to the launch event scheduled for November 30th in New Delhi. If these reports come true, Coolpad will soon be having two new phones its portfolio.

Even though we have no concrete details available at this moment, Zauba listing confirms the arrival of the Coolpad Mega 3 considering that 80 units of this phone have already been imported from China. As the name suggests, this phone appears to be the successor of the Coolpad Mega 2.5D which was launched in India mid-Q3 2016.

To recall, Coolpad Mega 2.5D features 5.5-inch HD screen. It’s powered by a 1GHz MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. It’s a dual-SIM device which runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS on top of Cool UI 8.0. On the camera front, it has an 8-megapixel rear snapper as well as an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.

Recently, a Coolpad phone which goes by the model number Coolpad 8737 appeared on a Chinese certification website TENAA. According to its listing, the device flaunts 5-inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels HD resoluion. The phone comes powered by a 1GHz processor paired with 2GB of RAM. and 16GB onboard storage. It packs in 2500mAh battery, running Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. This could possibly be the Coolpad Note 3S.
