Chinese smartphone maker Coolpad expanded its Note lineup in India with the launch of Coolpad Note 5, something the company teased as “beast among the best.” Available in Noble Black and Champagne Gold color options, the Coolpad Note 5 comes at a price of Rs.10,999. The phone will go on open sale starting October 20 exclusively on Amazon.
The Coolpad Note 5 sports a 5.5-inch Full HD screen featuring 2.5D curved glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The phone is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor along with 4GB RAM and Adreno 405 GPU.
It houses a 13-megapixel primary autofocus camera with f/2.2 aperture and Dual LED flash. At the front, it has an 8-megapixel shooter with f/2.2 aperture and front flash. The phone also has a fingerprint scanner on the back, right below the primary camera.
The Dual-SIM Coolpad Note 5 packs in a 4010mAh non-removable battery, which the company claims to deliver up to 350 hours of stand-by time and 14 hours of talk time. The device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box with Cool 8 UI on top.
The device boasts a metallic unibody design and features 32GB of internal storage. The storage is further expandable up to 64GB via microSD card. Connectivity wise, the device supports 4G VolTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and OTG.
