A Coolpad smartphone has been recently spotted while making rounds through GFXbench listing revealing the key specs of the phone. It is listed with a codename Coolpad 3632.
According to the listing, the device sports a 6.1-inch display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels which sounds really strange. It looks like a mistake because a phablet with such a resolution doesn’t make any sense. The listing further reveals the device to be running on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor clocked at 1.4GHz. It also gets 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. It is not clear whether the storage is further expandable or not.
In the camera section, the device is said to sport a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and autofocus. On the front, it sports a 2-megapixel selfies camera which records HD videos. It is a single SIM device and is rumoured to be a 4G VoLTE compatible. The device is said to get all standard connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and microUSB port.
As of now, there’s no official confirmation about the launch, pricing or availability of the device. The company is also expected to launch Coolpad Conjr in India which was claimed to launch at the end of last month. Coolpad hasn’t even said anything about the new launch date yet. The MWC 2017 is also just around the corner, and it seems like Coolpad is not planning to showcase any device at the fair as it hasn’t scheduled any event.
