Honor 6S Images Leaked Online, May Feature Snapdragon 435

Huawei seems to be working on another mid-range smartphone after launching the Honor 6x couple of months ago. With this new smartphone – Honor 6s, the company is reportedly planning to bring another variant of Honor 6 series.

Recently few renders of the Honor 6s were leaked on Twitter by a popular leakster who goes by the name of Krispitech. The leakster posted images of front and rear of smartphone which is according to him is Honor 6s. He also believes that the smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 435 which was recently announced by Qualcomm along with Snapdragon 653.

The images reveal that the device features a fingerprint scanner at back located right beneath the camera lens. According to reports, it is just a lower variant of Honor 6X and is likely to be priced around Rs 8,000 to Rs 10,000. It is supposed to be launched early next year.

Earlier, the Honor 6X was launched sporting a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 2.5D curved glass. It is powered by an octa-core Kirin 655 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. It also features a dual rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel sensor accompanied with an 8-megapixel depth sensor. The Honor 6X also has an 8-megapixel front facing camera for selfies.

It offers 32GB of inbuilt storage which can further be expanded up to 128GB with a MicroSD card. The phone also comes with a higher end variant offering 64GB of inbuilt storage. Talking about the battery, it packs in a 3,340mAh battery. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Huawei’s own EMUI 4.1 layer on top.
