Huawei has announced the yet another smartphone with dual rear camera setup. Honor 6X is the new mid-range smartphone which the company launched in China today.
Prior to this smartphone, the company recently launched the Honor 8, its latest phone to feature a dual rear camera setup. Honor 6X sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 2.5D curved glass protection. It is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 655 processor with 4-core clocked at 2.1GHz and other 4-core clocked at 1.7GHz. It features a fingerprint sensor at the back which company claims to unlock the device in just 0.3 seconds. The device comes with a non-removable back panel and packs in 3340mAh battery.
In terms of camera, on the back, the device features dual camera setup, one is a 12-megapixel sensor and the another is a 2-megapixel sensor. The device also features an 8-megapixel front facing camera for selfies. The Honor 6X comes in three different variants – 3GB RAM and 32GB storage priced at 999 Chinese Yuan (Rs 10,000), 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage priced at 1299 Chinese Yuan (Rs 13,000) and the last one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage device priced at 1599 Chinese Yuan (Rs 16,000). All the three variants allow further storage expansion up to 128GB with a MicroSD card.
The Honor 6X is dual SIM phone and supports 4G VoLTE and comes with hybrid SIM slot. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 on top. The phone is available for pre-order in China starting from 25th October.
