Earlier this month, Huawei unveiled its much-awaited flagship Mate 9 and Mate 9 Porsche design at an event in Germany. Huawei has now come up with the Mate 9 Pro which is basically a variant of the Huawei Mate 9 with Porsche design. The company had an event scheduled in China for today where it introduced the Huawei Mate 9 Pro. Not just this, Huawei also introduced Mate 9 and Mate 9 Porsche design during the event.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro comes with a 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. It is powered by an octa-core Huawei Kirin 960 processor coupled with Mali G71 octa-core GPU for graphics. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro comes in two variants: 4GB RAM + 64GB internal memory and 6GB RAM + 256GB internal memory.
On the camera front, the Huawei Mate 9 features a dual-camera setup on the back with one being a 12-megapixel RGB sensor and another being a 20-megapixel monochrome sensor. The rear camera further embraces Leica lenses, Laser Autofocus, dual-tone LED flash, optical image stabilization, and f/2.2 aperture. There is also an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.
The Huawei Mate 9 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with Emotion UI 5.0 on top. The phone keeps up with a 4000mAh battery with fast charging. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and NFC. It also has a fingerprint scanner embedded on the home button.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro costs 4699 Yuan (approximately Rs 46,500) for 4GB RAM variant and (approximately Rs 52,500) for 6GB RAM variant. It will be available in China starting this month in Black, Ceramic White, Moonlight Silver, Space Gray, Mocha Brown, and Champagne Gold colour options.
