Intex has consistently been launching new, affordable 4G-enabled handsets in the Indian market. Today, the company unveiled yet another budget smartphone dubbed the Intex Aqua Young 4G. Just a couple of days ago, Intex announced the Aqua Amaze+ featuring 1GB RAM, 4G VoLTE, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow for Rs 6,290. From the design perspective, the Intex Aqua Young 4G features a unibody metal back with plastic caps at the top as well as the bottom. The device measures 143.2 mm in height, 72.4 mm and width, and 10.3 mm in thickness. Furthermore, it weighs 179 grams with a 2800mAh battery Li-ion battery packed inside.
Up front, the Intex Aqua Young 4G has a 5-inch (12.7 cm) FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) display with 66.32% screen-to-body ratio, 200 PPI pixel density, and glass protection. It is a Dual-SIM device with two micro SIM slots. Both the SIM slots operate on 2G, 3G, and 4G network. It is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737M chip combined with Mali-T720 GPU for graphics. The smartphone further embraces 1GB DDR3 RAM and 8GB built-in storage, out of which around 3.75GB memory is available for users. The storage, however, is expandable further up to 32GB through a memory card slot.
On the camera front, the Intex Aqua Young 4G houses a 5MP autofocus camera with dual LED flash. On the front, there is a 5MP selfie camera for taking selfies. Moving on, the phone comes with few VAS apps pre-installed Mifon, IPL Game, and Game Play. The set of connectivity options includes WLAN, Bluetooth, GPS/AGPS, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB port. It also features the standard set of sensors like proximity sensor, light sensor, and G-sensor. Available in Blue and Champagne colour options, the Intex Aqua Young 4G comes at the price of Rs 5,549.
