Lava A73, Lava X28+ with Android Marshamllow Launched in India

Lava just launched a couple of new handsets dubbed Lava A73 and Lava X28+ in the Indian market. Both the newly announced smartphones are listed officially on the company website. They are not available to purchase just yet, though. The Lava A73 is available in Dark Gray colour option, priced at Rs 5,149. The Lava X28+, on the other side, costs Rs 7,199 and comes in Coffee, Gold, and Grey colour options.

Lava A73

To begin with, the Lava A73 flaunts a 5-inch display with 800 x 480 pixels FWVGA resolution. Controlling the device operations are a quad-core chip clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB RAM, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. It packs a 2200mAh battery and 8GB internal memory, which is expandable up to 32GB with the help of microSD card.

The Lava A73 comes with a 5MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 5MP selfie camera with front flash. Some of the camera features and modes include photo timer, grid, digital zoom, HDR and more. The Dual-SIM handset further includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, microUSB port. It measures 145.5 mm in height, 72.9 mm in width, and 9.3 mm in thickness.

Lava X28+

The Lava X28+, on the other side, offers a 5.5-inch HD screen with 267 PPI pixel density. Inside are a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, 1GB RAM, and 8GB built-in storage (expandable up to 32GB using microSD). Based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, it packs a 2600mAh battery, which is claimed to offer around 16 hours talk time and 271 hours standby time.

As far as camera specifications are concerned, the Lava X28+ sports an 8MP rear autofocus camera with LED flash. The camera interface also supports modes, i.e., panorama and face beauty. Up front also has a 5MP secondary camera with LED flash. It also comes with two SIM card slots in addition to connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, and microUSB 2.0 port. The Lava X28+ weighs 174 g.
