Indian cell phone maker Lava will soon expand its portfolio with a new smartphone dubbed Lava Z25. The device is spotted on a benchmarking website Geekbench already with limited specifications. According to the benchmark listing, Lava Z25 is powered by a 1.51GHz octa-core (eight cores) MediaTek MT6750 chip. The phone further embraces a whopping 4GB of RAM of multitasking.
Assisting the aforementioned hardware specifications is Mali-T860 GPU for taking care graphics operations. Lava Z25 is backed by Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system running under the hood. Even though no other details are known at this moment, we are able to confirm from our sources that Lava Z25 will launch soon.
Last week, Lava unveiled two new smartphones — Lava A50 and Lava A55. Both the device are 3G-enabled, running Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. They come in silver and black colour options and are listed on the company website. They feature a 4.0-inch screen WVGA display and a 1.2GHz quad-core chip. They pack in 8GB of built-in storage, which is expandable up to 32GB.
Lava A50 and Lava A55 house a 5MP rear camera with LED flash as well as a VGA camera for selfies. Both of them are based on a 1,500mAh battery. The only difference, Lava A50 has 512MB of RAM whereas Lava A55 features comparatively bigger 1GB RAM. Lava A50 and Lava A55 cost Rs 3,999 and Rs 4,399 respectively.
