Lenovo expanded its Legion gaming laptops portfolio in India with two new devices: the Y520 and Y720. The Legion Y520 starts at Rs 92,490 on Flipkart and the official Lenovo online store. The Legion Y720, on the other hand, starts at Rs 1,49,990. Flipkart is also offering a flat exchange discount of Rs 20,000 on pre-booking. What’s more, buyers will also be eligible for additional 2-year on-site warranty worth Rs 4,999 and Rs 999. Both the Windows 10 based laptops will be sold in black colour.
Talking about the Legion Y520, it has an aluminum-brushed body featuring a 15.6-inch 1080p display. At the heart of the laptop is Intel’s 7th gen Core i7 processor alongside Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics. It weighs 2.4 kilogrammes and offers a 720p webcam. The laptop embraces 2.0 Harman and Dolby audio and includes two USB 3.0 ports, 2 USB 2.0 ports, a Type-C port, and a 4-in-1 card reader. Inside, there is a battery which is claimed to offer up to 5 hours backup.
The Legion Y720, on the other hand, is touted as the world’s first Dolby Atmos Windows laptop. It comes with a similar 15.6-inch 1080p display. Powering the laptop is an Intel’s 7th gen Core i7 processor coupled with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics, making it the first Oculus certified VR-ready laptop in India. It also features integrated Xbox One Wireless receiver to support up to four controllers at the same time. Rest of the features are similar to that of the Y520.
