According to a recent teaser sent to major publications, the company has hinted the launch of it’s another high-end smartphone LG V30. The teaser shows the front panel of a phone mentioning 31st August and Berlin, Germany on it. This also makes sense as it is in line with previous rumours which claimed the V30 to arrive almost one year after its predecessor, the V20 (launched on 20th September 2016).
Earlier, we also came across few renders of the LG V30, thanks to the leakster @OnLeaks. The renders revealed that With V30, the company has ditched the secondary display and opted for a 6-inch OLED panel. It sports a sleek metal frame sandwiched between glass panels with very thin bezels around the display. The phone also lacks a home button and navigations buttons beneath the display. Talking about connectivity ports, the is shown to sport a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Talking about the specs, the LG V30 is said to house a 3,200mAh battery and will be powered by Snapdragon 835 chipset. The phone is said to come in three different variants of storage – 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. The phone is also expected to get IP68 water and dust resistance. Similar to LG G6, the V30 is also rumoured to come with ESS’ new Quad DAC to deliver impressive audio performance.
