As claimed earlier, Meizu has finally launched the Meizu M5s in China. It is the successor of Meizu M5 which was launched in October last year. The Meizu M5s gets an all-metal unibody design and comes in four different colors – Champagne Gold, Moonlight Silver, Rose Gold and Star Grey.
Talking about specs, the Meizu M5s sports a 5.2-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and 2.5D curved glass on top. The device is equipped with an octa-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 3GB of RAM. The phone comes in two different storage variants of 16GB and 32GB. The storage is further expandable up to 128GB with a MicroSD card.
The Meizu M5s also gets a fingerprint scanner mounted on the home button. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow wrapped under Flyme OS 6.0. It packs in a 3000mAh battery which is clubbed with fast charging technology. Meizu claims the device to get charged from 0% to 19% just under 10 minutes of charging.
Coming on to camera front, the Meizu M5s features a 13-megapixel primary camera with PDAF and dual-tone LED flash. The phone also flaunts a 5-megapixel shooter on the front for capturing selfies. It is a dual SIM phone and get the connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS / GLONASS. It is priced 799 Chinese Yuan (Rs 7,000) for 16GB variant and 999 Chinese Yuan (Rs 10,000) for 32GB variant.
