Chinese smartphone maker Meizu has announced a new phone — the Meizu Pro 6s. It is the successor to Meizu Pro 6 which was announced in April this year. Earlier this week, the company launched another device — the Meizu M5, at an event in China. We are not sure if the company will launch this newly announced Meizu Pro 6s in the Indian market. But for now, let’s see what this phone has to offer.
Specs wise, the Meizu Pro 6s comes with 5.2-inch AMOLED screen featuring Full HD resolution. The phone runs on a deca-core MediaTek Helio X25 processor which has the maximum clocked speed of 2.5GHz. Accompanying the processor are Mali-T880 GPU for graphics as well as a 4GB of RAM.
On the storage front, users get 64GB of internal storage. However, we are not able to confirm at this time if the storage capacity is expandable any further. Photography lovers get a 12-megapixel rear snapper combined with LED flash, PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus), and f/2.0 aperture. The phone also carries a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
The Meizu Pro 6s is a Dual-SIM which is based on Android OS with the latest Flyme launcher on top. The device is backed by a 3,060mAh battery which Meizu claims to offer a full day backup. The battery is mated with mCharge 3.0 fast charging support. The supported connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C.
Talking of price and availability, the Meizu Pro 6s will be available in China starting November 7th for 2699 Yuan (approximately Rs 26,000).
Last week, the company came up with the Meizu M3s in India. Priced at Rs 7,999, the Meizu M3s features 4G VoLTE and a fingerprint scanner.
