At the launch event at New Delhi which started at 3 pm today, Motorola finally released the first E-series smartphone after being acquired by Lenovo. From the last couple of weeks, the company was gearing up for this launch on different social media platforms with teasers and tag lines.
Earlier, we spotted it being imported in India at a price of Rs 5392. Considering its price of Rs 7999, it is little disappointing for the users who were expecting it to be priced around 7k. Still, it would be quite interesting to see the heated competition between the Moto E3 Power and Redmi 3S.
Moto E3 Power sports a 5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The screen gets Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection along with water repellent and smudge free coating. So, this Moto E3 Power is now splash-proof and the smudge free coating means you won’t see your fingerprint marks on the screen.
It is powered by a MediaTek MT6735P 64-Bit quad core processor clocked at 1 GHz and has 2 GB of RAM. Going with the MediaTek processor is quite an unprecedented move by Motorola since its devices were always powered with Snapdragon processor so far.
It is packed with a 3500 mAh battery which also comes with fast charging technology. The phone comes with a 10W Rapid Charger which can provide 5 hours of battery backup in just 15 minutes of charging. It houses a 16 GB of internal storage which can be increased up to 32 GB via a MicroSD card. Talking about cameras, the rear one features an 8-megapixel sensor with a LED flash, and the front one is a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The selfie camera also features the Beautification mode which will enhance your selfies and the device also comes up with 2 years free image storage with Google (Google Photos).
The Moto E3 Power is a dual SIM phone and it supports 4G and VoLTE and the users will also get really cool offers from Reliance Jio as a welcome offer. Currently, the phone will go on sale at today midnight exclusively on Flipkart at a price of Rs 7999.
