Motorola Moto E was the smartphone that instilled confidence that Android indeed can be usable on hardware that is not flagship spec’d. Since then Motorola Moto E has been the device that has stood out in the low-budget category of just under Rs 7,000 in India. With Lenovo acquiring Motorola, a lot was up in the air about how Lenovo would take the Moto E lineup forward, and we got our answer when the Moto E3 Power was announced earlier in the week in India. The phone was an exclusive smartphone on Flipkart and went on sale midnight of September 20th. The phone has been priced at INR 7,999 which is the highest price for any Moto E device so far.
Despite the increased price, the Moto E3 Power was sold 100,000 times on Flipkart just on the day 1, which makes it one of the most popular smartphones in the recent times. The sales numbers come from Mr Amit Boni, who is the General Manager, of Motorola Mobility in India. He tweeted:

The Motorola Moto E3 Power comes in a design that is very similar to the design seen on the Motorola Moto G4 that was launched earlier in the year. It comes with a 5 inch 720P display. It is powered by MediaTek MT6735P and comes with 2GB RAM. Like practically every Moto smartphones out there, the Moto E3 Power comes with vanilla Android 6.0.1 out of the box. There is 16GB storage as well as a dedicated slot for a microSD card in there. The phone supports dual SIM and has VoLTE connectivity among the usual connectivity options. The rear camera on the phone is 8MP while the front-facing snapper is 5MP. There is a 3500 mAh battery on the phone, making it a phone that would last you easily beyond a full working day.
