After teasing on social media platforms for a while, OnePlus has finally launched the limited edition Soft Gold colour variant of its latest flagship device OnePlus 5 in India. The phone will be available for sale starting 12:00 AM IST on 9th of August exclusively on Amazon. It will carry a price tag of Rs 32,99 and will come with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage.
OnePlus also claims the new Soft Gold variant to be 30 percent finer than that of previous OnePlus Soft Gold devices. Users can also get hands on experience of the device by walking in OnePlus Experience stores in select cities. To recall, the OnePlus was first unveiled on 20th June and was launched in India two days after. Initially, the phone was launched in two colour variants – Slate Gray and Midnight Black. Both of these colour variants basically offers the handset in just different shades of black. Now, with the launch of Soft Gold colour variant, users have a new option to choose.
Talking about specs, the OnePlus 5 puts on a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Under the hood, the device is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM. For shutterbugs, the OnePlus 5 sports a 16MP selfie camera and a dual camera setup on the back. It includes a 16MP RGB sensor and a 20MP telephoto lens sensor. It packs in a 3,500mAh battery backed with the famous Dash Charge 2.0.
