Oppo announced the smartphone A39 with a tagline “Unstoppable Selfies” in October last year and now our reliable sources at Pricebaba claims that the phone will be soon available for sale in India. From the last couple of months, Oppo has been quite in India while launching only an upgraded version of Oppo F1s with 4GB RAM in November last year.
The Oppo A39 sports a 5.2-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels and Gorilla Glass 4 protection on top. The company claims that the display also supports gloves and wet touch input. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which is further expandable with a MicroSD card.
Coming to the camera section, the Oppo A39 features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera for capturing selfies. It is dual SIM phone and also supports 4G VoLTE. Regarding connectivity, the phone support Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n on both 2.4 and 5GHz bands, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and OTG.
The phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with ColorOS 3.0 built on top. It packs in a 2900mAh non-removable battery and is available in two colours – Gold and Rose Gold. According to the sources, the phone will be available later this month in India with a price tag of Rs 12,999.
