Chinese smartphone maker Oppo recently announced the Oppo A57 in India. The Oppo A57 goes on sale starting February 3rd (today). To recall, the Oppo A57 was first unveiled in China in November last year.
As far as the specifications of the Oppo A57 are concerned, it sports a 5.2-inch HD screen with the layer of Gorilla Glass 4 protection on top. Powering the device is a Snapdragon 435 processor octa-core chip combined with 3GB of RAM. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with ColorOS 3.0 on top.
Furthermore, the Oppo A57 embraces 32GB of built-in storage, which is further expandable up to 256GB by means of a microSD card. Interestingly, the Oppo A57 is the first ‘A series’ smartphone to feature a front-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone flaunts an all-metal unibody design.
In terms of camera offerings, the Oppo A57 houses a 13MP rear shooter with PDAF, f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. Up front, there is a 16MP secondary camera with f/2.0 aperture for taking selfies. It also comes with Beautify 4.0 software for enhancing the quality of selfies.
The Dual-SIM Oppo A57 offers two Nano SIM slots with 4G support in India. However, it unknown just yet if it supports voice calling over LTE. That aside, it comes with the set of connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, 3.5mm audio jack, and microUSB 2.0 port. It packs in a 2900mAh battery under the hood.
The Oppo A57 comes at the price of Rs 14,990.
