Panasonic today launched yet another budget smartphone – Eluga Tapp. With this festive season, the Japanese company is expanding its mid-budget offering with this phone.
The Eluga Tapp sports a 5-inch IPS HD display and is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM. It packs in 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB with a MicroSD card. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Talking about the camera section, Eluga Tapp features an 8-megapixel primary camera with an LED flash at back and a 5-megapixel front facing camera for selfies. The device holds a Li-Polymer battery with a capacity of 2800mAh.
The phone also features a front fingerprint scanner for added security. The Eluga Tapp also comes with an add-on security feature called “Android for Work” which allows users to isolate the business apps from personal ones.
In terms of connectivity, the phone supports Dual SIM cards. It supports 4G VoLTE along with 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, FM, and GPS. The smartphone comes in two different colours – Champagne Gold and Silver Grey.
The Eluga Tapp also provides non-hybrid SIM tray, which means users can simultaneously use two SIM cards and a MicroSD card. The company is also providing a protective screen guard along with the phone. The Panasonic Eluga Tapp is available for Rs 8,990 at all offline retail stores.
