Consumer Electronics Show (CES) can be called Mecca for tech, a place where tech enthusiast from all over the world gather to witness the new technological innovations. We have just witnessed an eventful CES 2017, Xiaomi debuted at CES showcasing the white colour variant of its famous bezel-less Mi MIX, Lenovo introduced its dedicated gaming laptop series, Dell unveiled the world’s first 8K TV, Asus launched its first AR phone and many more.

Here, lets have a look at the major announcements made at the CES 2017.

1) LG’s Smart Ultra HD TV with Nano Cell technology

LG introduced three new TVs with Ultra HD LCD panel featuring Nano Cell technology. Meaning, the third generation TV lineup is capable of rendering highly nuanced and accurate colours while maintaining picture quality at wider viewing angles. 2) Lenovo Legion gaming laptops with Intel 7th-gen chips

Lenovo launched a new sub-brand for its laptops, especially focused for gaming market called Lenovo Legion. With this new sub-branding Legion, the company has launched two new laptops called Legion Y720 and Y520. Both of these laptops are powered by the latest 7th generation chipset from Intel called as Kaby Lake. (Read More)

3) BlackBerry Mercury with physical keyboard

TCL put a short video teaser online for the upcoming phone Blackberry Mercury with QWERTY keypad. The device is said to be powered by Snapdragon 821 chipset whereas the recent rumours claim the device to be powered by Snapdragon 625 instead. (Read More)

4) Honor 6X with dual rear camera setup

Honor launched its latest Honor 6X smartphone at this year’s CES 2017. Honor 6x sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 2.5D curved glass protection on top. Dell unveiled its latest 2-in-1 laptop dubbed Dell Latitude 5285. Dell’s latest Latitude 5285 resembles Microsoft Surface Pro to a great extent, considering similarities in terms of the design. 6) Lenovo Miix 720 2-in-1 Windows tablet

Lenovo Miix 720 has a detachable keyboard cover with touchpad and a foldable kickstand that can adjust the tab at a viewing angle up to 150 degrees. The top variant comes up with 16GB RAM and 1TB of Solid State drive. It comes with an optional Active Pen 2 stylus which will be available to buy starting from February for $60. (Read More)

7) Convertible Asus Chromebook with 8GB RAM

Asus unveiled Chromebook Flip C302CA notebook featuring a silver lid and metal finish. Powering it is 6th-gen Intel core m3, m7 or Pentium processors with integrated CPU, supporting 8GB of RAM.  It comes in silver colour starting $499 (approximately Rs 32,099) for Intel Core m3 CPU, 4GB RAM, and 32GB storage. (Read More)

8) Convertible Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 ultrabook

Dell launched the 2-in-1 convertible version of the XPS 13 laptop. It offers the same experience Infinity Display XPS 13 notebook with an additional 360-degree hinge. 9) Asus ZenFone AR with 8GB RAM and Google Tango

Asus took the wraps off a new phone under its ZenFone lineup — Asus ZenFone AR. Powering the phone is a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chip paired with Adreno 530 GPU and a whopping 8GB RAM. It is a Dual-SIM phone which runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. (Read More)

10) Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom with dual rear camera

Asus launched Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom, the successor to last year’s ZenFone Zoom. It works on a concept similar to iPhone 7 Plus, by switching from the 25mm lens to the 59mm lens users get an instant 2.3X zoom. 11) New HP Spectre X360 15.6-inch laptop

HP unveiled a new 15.6-inch Spectre X360 laptop. It has a thickness of 17.89mm and weighs 4.4 pound which is roughly 0.4 pounds more than its predecessor. It comes with 16GB of RAM instead of 8GB RAM. The all new HP Spectre 15.6-inch model will ship in February starting at $1,279. (Read More)

Samsung announced two Chromebooks – Chromebook Pro and Chromebook Plus. The Chromebooks sport an all metal design with a premium look.
