There was a report last week that Samsung is gearing up to launch Galaxy C9 Pro in India this month. Another report has now appeared on SamMobile suggesting that the device will launch in India on January 18. However, we are yet to hear from the company officially regarding Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro launch in India. To recall, the phone was first announced in October last year and is currently retailing in China at 3,199 Yuan (approx. Rs 31,600).
Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro has a 6.0-inch Super AMOLED screen with 1,920 x 1,080 pixels Full HD resolution and 367 PPI pixel density. It flaunts a metal unibody design with two antenna bands, measures 162.9 x 80.7 x 6.9 mm, and weighs 189g. Powering the phone is a 1.9GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 octa-core processor combined with Adreno 510 GPU.
Inside is 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, which is expandable further through a microSD card support. Coming to optics, Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro houses a 16MP primary camera on the back with PDAF and dual-tone LED flash. It can also record 1080p Full HD videos at 30fps. Up front features a 16MP secondary camera with f/1.9 aperture for selfies.
Samsung Galaxy Pro 9 is a dual-SIM phone, running Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and packing in a 4000mAh battery. It also offers fingerprint scanner on the front also acts as the home button. Other supported sensors are an accelerometer, proximity, and compass. The set of connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C port. In other news, Samsung has also started selling Galaxy J2 Ace in India which comes at the price of Rs 8,490.
