The Korean tech giant, Samsung is apparently working on yet another budget smartphone. This unannounced smartphone already leaked months ago while making around through import-export website.
This time, the phone was spotted on a benchmark website. The listing revealed that the phone will sport a 5-inch HD display and will be powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 430 processor clocked at 1.4GHz. It will come with 2GB of RAM, and there are also rumours that the device will come in two variants with different inbuilt storage options
Looking at the processor and specs of the device, it seems to be an entry-level smartphone priced under Rs 10,000. Speaking of rumours, the device is also expected to feature a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front facing camera. The battery is expected to be around 2600mAh.
Looking at its benchmarks of the device, it scored 623 for single-core process and 1629 on the multi-core process. The benchmarks also reveal that the device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Talking about its predecessor, the Samsung J3 2016 edition sports 5-inch Super AMOLED HD display. It is powered by a quad-core 1.5GHz processor and packs in a 2600mAh battery. The Galaxy J3 2016 features a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front facing camera for selfies. It was launched in March 2016with S-Bike mode and priced at Rs 8,999. It comes in three colours – black, white and gold.
