The rumors of Samsung already working on 2017 editions of its Galaxy J series appears to be true. Recently the Galaxy J3 (2017) was spotted on TENAA and now Galaxy J7 (2017) spotted entering India.
On India’s import-export website Zauba, a Samsung device with model number SM-J727 was spotted on 3rd of October. According to the reports, this device will be another member of the Samsung J series.
Though there is no word about the specs of the device on Zauba but the rumors says that the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) will be powered by an Exynos chipset paired with 3GB of RAM. It will sport a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels.
Talking about the camera, it is rumored to have a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera for selfies. It will also house a 3000mAh battery. The device is priced at Rs 13,686 on the website, however the price shown on import-export websites are not usually the retail price. We’ve generally found that the retail price is 2-3 times higher than the import price.
Earlier this year in March, J7 (2016) was launched with 5.5-inch Super AMOLED Full HD display with 16GB of onboard storage. It is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7870 clocked at 1.6GHz paired with 2GB of RAM. It also features a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel camera at front. It houses a 3300mAh battery which can provide up to 23 hours of talktime. It is a dual SIM phone with 4G LTE support.
