Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will feature 6.4-inch screen, dual cameras: Report

While it’s not a secret anymore that Samsung will soon unveil the whole new Galaxy Note 8, successor to last year’s Note 7, a new report has emerged indicating that it will also be the company’s first dual-camera handset.

What’s more, the Galaxy Note 8 is also tipped to feature 3x optical zoom, 12-megapixel; wide-angle CIS supporting dual photodiode (2PD), 13-megapixel telephoto CIS, dual 6P lenses and dual OIS. The report also predicts that the Note 8’s dual-camera will be better than that of iPhone 7 Plus.

Other predictions include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 6.4-inch QHD+ OLED display, and an Exynos processor (depending upon the market).

Samsung recently took the wraps off this year’s most-waited flagship smartphones: the Galaxy S8 and S8+. (Also see: Samsung Galaxy S8 launched in India; can you guess its price?) According to the report, both the phones are selling better than expected as far as the pre-orders are concerned.

The Samsung Galaxy S8+, on the other hand, sports a 6.4-inch Quad HD display, Snapdragon 835/Exynos 8895 10nm chip, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, 12-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel selfie camera, fingerprint scanner, and 3,500mAh battery.
