Samsung Galaxy S8+ Specs Leaked; 4GB RAM, Android 7.0 Nougat & More

Samsung is rumoured to launch its flagship Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones on March 29. We have seen numerous reports in the past, comprised of leaks, rumours, live images and what not. Now, a complete spec sheet of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8+ is in everyone’s proximity, thanks to a well-known tipster Evan Blass.

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge

According to the spec sheet shared by Blass, Samsung Galaxy S8+ sports a 6.2-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) + Super AMOLED screen. It packs 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory. In terms of optics, the phone houses a 12MP primary camera at the rear as well as an 8MP secondary camera up front. It also bundles features, i.e., IRIS Scanner, Wireless Charging, Samsung Pay, IP68 Dust and Water Resistant.

Some of the previous reports point that Samsung Galaxy S8+ would be introduced in two variants — Global as well as the U.S. only. The U.S. variant is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s recently announced flagship Snapdragon 835 process. The global variant, on the other hand, would be powered by Samsung’s Exynos chip.

The Samsung Galaxy S8+ is most likely to run Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. That aside, the device is also expected to feature connectivity options like 4G VoLTE and USB Type-C port. Last week, we reported exclusively that Samsung is all set to unveil its Galaxy A (2017) lineup in India soon.
