If you have been following our blog lately, you must be aware of one particular company which is consistent enough to be on our radar for all the wrong reasons. Yes, we are talking about Samsung and its flagship Galaxy Note 7 phablet which is catching up fire across various corners of the world. Finally, the company’s explosive Galaxy Note 7 saga is coming to an end (at least we hope so) with folks at Samsung shutting down its sales worldwide.
To remind, Samsung’s flagship devices have been recalled twice already. This time, Galaxy Note 7 owners are required to return the device back to Samsung permanently. Yes, it is time to bid a farewell to not-so-yours Galaxy Note 7. This may not be easy as it is just the device which is going away and not the problem. Hence there is still a possibility that some of many million Galaxy Note 7 devices may just explode in transit.
To address this issue, Samsung is now sending across a special return kit, containing a box which is crafted using a ceramic fiber paper. This box is meant to protect your recalled Galaxy Note 7 against combustion. Along with the kit, Samsung is also providing gloves to protect your hands against any bad reaction. These gloves may not be full proof. Hence, it is advisable that you should remain careful and stay away from your Galaxy Note 7 if it is ablaze.
The company is also offering a shipping label to dispatch the phone back. However, the box comes with a flying ban imposed on itself. This means that the phones must be shipped by ground, safely within the reach of safety authorities in case of emergency.
