Dutch company TomTom yesterday unveiled its three wearables devices in India — the Adventurer Outdoor Watch, Spark 3 fitness watch, and Touch fitness tracker. All the products come equipped with different features i.e. activity tracking, multisport mode, wireless syncing, automatic sleep tracking, and multi-sport mode.
They all are IPX7 certified splash resistant which is common for fitness / activity-tracking wearables. Both the watches, TomTom Adventurer and Spark 3 are GPS enabled. Meaning, it is possible for users to keep track of their speed, distance, and route, which is similar to Apple Watch Series 2 Nike+ Edition.
As mentioned, both of them are GPS sports watches with the music player. It includes Bluetooth headphones that which are said to last up to 6 hours. Multisport modes track all the activities indoor and out. There are also different modes for trail-running, hiking, skiing and snowboarding.
There is a built-in compass to discover new routes, barometer, water resistance capacity. They also embrace a built-in music player in addition to real-time stats i.e. altitude, 3D distance, pace, and total ascent and descent. That aside, Heart rate monitor keeps track of heart rate, steps, active minutes, and calories burned.
The TomTom Adventurer costs Rs 25,999 and will be available starting mid-December. The TomTom Spark 3 has different variants, costing Rs 13,999 for the base variant and Rs 17,999 for the one with built-in heart rate monitor. On the other hand, the TomTom Spark 3 with Music + 3GB storage and Cardio + 3GB storage cost Rs 21,999.
