Sony is currently working on two new smartphones which go by the codename G3121 and G3112. Earlier, these devices were spotted in last year October while making rounds through Russian regulatory body. Now, a new rumour claims that these devices will be powered by MediaTek Helio P10 MT6757 processor.
Sony Xperia XA, XA Ultra and XA Dual launched last year were equipped with Helio P10 processor. Looking at the previous phones, the new G3121 and G3112 are expected to be the successors of Xperia X series. Apart from the processor, we don’t have more details about the phone at this moment. However, the UAProf (User Agent Profile) specifications of devices reveal that the G3121 sports an HD (1280x720p) display whereas the G3221 sports a Full HD (1920x1080p) display.
Earlier, an image of Sony Xperia XZ 2017 was surfaced online revealing a bezel-less design. The images show the phone in a gold colour variant with a Sony branding on top bezel located between front camera and sensors. Overall, the image gives an idea of the placement of the front camera, proximity and ambient sensor on the device. Sadly, there’s no word on the specs, pricing and availability of the device. We’re expecting it to be announced at MWC 2017 which is to held in Barcelona.
