Chinese smartphone maker Vivo is gearing up to launch the selfie-focused Vivo V5 Plus in India next month. The company is now sending out press invites to the event scheduled for January 23, 2017. Vivo V5 Plus comes with spec bump over its recently launched younger sibling Vivo V5, which is currently retailing for Rs 15,718 on Amazon.
If unofficial preliminary specifications are to believe, Vivo V5 Plus a 5.5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels Full HD resolution. The device is powered by an octa-core chipset coupled with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal memory. It features a dual front camera setup with 20MP + 8MP selfie camera and Moonlight flash. It also houses 16MP rear camera with PDAF and LED flash. It packs in a 3300mAh battery.
Vivo V5, on the other hand, sports a 5.5-inch Full HD screen with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass on top. It is powered by MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and 4GB RAM for multitasking. It offers 32GB storage, expandable up to 128GB via microSD. It houses a 13MP rear camera with LED flash as well as a 20MP selfie camera. There is also a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button.
Vivo V5 packs in a 3000mAH battery and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and microUSB 2.0
