The upcoming phone Xiaomi Mi 5c which will be launched soon has been again spotted online revealing its key specs. Earlier, we came across few renders and live images of the phone revealing its specs and also claiming the device to powered by Xiaomi’s in-house Pinecone processor.
Now, the phone has been spotted while making rounds through GFXbench listing. The listing reveals the phone to sport a 5.5-inch Full HD display which according to earlier reports, was claimed to be 5-inch. The listing also shows the phone to be powered by Snapdragon 425 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It is being said that the phone will come in two variants with different chipsets – one with Snapdragon and another one with Pinecone. The listing also shows the phone to be running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
The listing further reveals the phone to sport a 12-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash. The phone also features an 8-megapixel front camera for capturing selfies. The phone also gets all the standard connectivity options such as Bluetooth, GPS, and WiFi along with sensors such as an accelerometer, gyroscope, light sensor, and proximity sensor.
Xiaomi has already confirmed the launch of its in-house chipset Pinecone on 28th February and Mi 5c is likely to be the first device powered by Pinecone processor. As per the current reports, the company is working on two Pinecone chipset – V670 and V970. The Mi 5c is said to be equipped with V670 whereas the V970 will be launched in last quarter of this year. The Chinese tech giant has recently also posted a teaser on Weibo and ran a poll asking for people’s opinion about the chipset’s logo.
