Xiaomi is all set to unveil their much rumored Mi 5s and 5s Plus at an event scheduled for 27th September. They even sent out the invites for the event to be held at China Convention Center, Beijing. Aside from this, the company is also expected to launch much-awaited Mi Note 2 Pro later this year.
There are already numerous leaks floating on the internet regarding Mi Note 2 Pro, but recently there has been a new leak which is definitely going to interest Mi fans. The above screenshot of Mi Note 2 Pro seen on Mydrivers gives an indication that Xiaomi is shipping this device with Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. The Mi Note 2 Pro will be running MIUI skin built on the top of Android 7.0 Nougat.
The screenshot also reveals a lot about the hardware of the phone. Xiaomi certainly has plans to take on the current flagships using this device seeing the hardware specs of Mi Note 2 Pro. This device is powered by keenly awaited Snapdragon 821 clocked at 2.6GHz with a whopping 8GB of RAM. It also offers the 256GB of internal storage which no-doubt puts it on the top of stacks of Android devices in terms of internal storage.
As per the earlier leaks, Mi Note 2 Pro will feature a 5.7-Inch 2K dual curved display screen, a 16-megapixel dual-lens setup camera, a fingerprint sensor on the front. The dual-lens setup rear camera is also rumored to create artificial bokeh images just like HTC M8 or the more recent iPhone 7 Plus. There is no word about the resolution of front camera yet. The device also gets a speaker grille at the bottom and a USB-Type C charging port.
