An unknown Xiaomi smartphone has made an appearance on popular benchmarking site GeekBench. The smartphone in question is codenamed Xiaomi Mido and is said to be a variant of the Redmi 4. The phone has some interesting specifications too.
The Mido in its testing form sports a Snapdragon 625 processor along with 2GB of RAM. The chipset is an octa-core processor which is clocked at 2.02GHz. The leak also reveals that the phone is running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The phone scored 806 in the single core test while clocking 3763 in the multi-core test. The processor in a mid level chip, superior to the Snapdragon 430 processor used in Redmi 3s and the Redmi3s Prime.
No other details with respect to the screen size or the resolution are known at the moment. But the leak is recent and in line with the China launch of the Redmi 4. It’ll be interesting to see if Xiaomi launches the device here. The Chinese manufacturer had recently launched the Redmi 3S prime in India and has managed to clock good sales on Flipkart.
