Xiaomi Redmi 4 All Set to Launch in China Tomorrow

Chinese handset maker Xiaomi is all set to launch the all-new Redmi 4 smartphone tomorrow (November 4th). The company has an event scheduled in China where it will take the wraps off the new addition to its popular Redmi lineup. Interestingly, Xiaomi’s Redmi series has received a pretty good response from Indian consumers so far. We are expecting a similar response this time . Basically, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 is the successor of the Redmi 3s and Redmi 3s Prime that was announced in January earlier this year.

From what is rumored so far, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 sports a 5-inch screen featuring 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) resolution. Powering the device is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2GHz and Adreno 506 GPU for graphics and video processing.

The phone also packs in 3GB RAM for multitasking. Under the hood, it comes with 32GB internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB via hybrid SIM slot. As far as the camera specs are concerned, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 houses a 13-megapixel primary camera on the back along with PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus) and dual LED flash. It is mated with a 5-megapixel front shooter for all the selfie lovers out there.

It is based on MIUI 8 skin on top of the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box. It also features the standard set of connectivity features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB Type-C etc. In addition to this, it is also compatible with 4G VoLTE. Meaning, Indians can enjoy Reliance Jio experience.
