Earlier this week, we reported that Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Redmi Note 4 in India next month. Now, the successor of Redmi Note 3 is already available in two new colours — Black and Blue. That aside, it’s also available in older Silver, Gold, and Gray colour options. Meaning, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 now comes in total five colour options.
As far as the specifications of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 are concerned, it comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels display). It’s powered by a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 processor. However, there are reports that Xiaomi will launch the Redmi Note 4 with a Snapdragon 625 processor in India.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 comes in two variants — 2GB RAM with 16GB memory and 3GB RAM with 64GB memory. The internal storage, however, is expandable up to 128GB through microSD card. Xiaomi may not make changes to this tradition in India since the Redmi Note 3 also comes in two memory configurations.
On the camera front, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 features a 13MP rear camera combined with a Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) and dual-LED flash. Up front, it carries a 5MP secondary camera for selfies. It also has a fingerprint scanner on the back which sits below the rear camera module. The phone is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with MIUI8 on top. It packs in a bigger 4100mAh battery.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 flaunts an all-metal unibody design. The supported connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C port. It’s priced at 999 Yuan (around Rs 10,000). However, it is highly unlikely that Xiaomi will launch the Redmi Note 4 in India with these colour options.
