Smartphone maker Zopo has launched its Color C3 device in India. This launch comes in a month after the launch of the Zopo Color F1. The Color C3 was announced globally at the MWC in Barcelona earlier this year alongside the Zopo F2 and the Zopo F5.
The Color C3 sports a 5 inch HD display with 2.5D glass on the front of the device. The phone is powered by a MediaTek 6737 quad-core processor along with 2GB of RAM. The processor was also found powering the Samsung Grand Prime + recently. The Zopo phone has 16GB of inbuilt storage that is further expandable via a MicroSD card slot. The phone has an 8-megapixel camera at the back and a 5-megapixel camera on the front. Both these cameras feature a Dual LED flash.
The Zopo Color C3 runs on Android Marshmallow with Zopo’s UI customization on top. The phone introduces a feature called double apps that allows users to install one app two times. For eg., this will allow users to have two WhatsApp apps on their smartphone. One other feature that Zopo talked about is called floating video. This enables the user to watch a PiP( Picture in Picture) video while working on a different app.
The phone has a brushed metallic back that gives the phone a premium look. The Zopo Color C3 is a Dual SIM device and has a Micro SIM and a Nano SIM slot. It is a 4G device but only supports Band 3 in India. The phone has a 2100mAh battery that is non-removable. The Zopo Color C3 is priced at Rs 9599 and is available in Rose Gold, Champagne, Marine Blue, Classic Black, and Silver.
