Editor Notes

The Samsung Galaxy A5 and the Samsung Galaxy E7 come from different series and are targeted at different people. There are some differences between these phones when it comes to price, 4G connectivity, NFC, battery and screen size. Samsung Galaxy A5 is slightly on the higher side because it belongs to the A series whereas Samsung Galaxy E7 belongs to the E series. The cheaper E7 has a larger 5.5 inch display while A5 sports a 5 inch display. Both of them flaunt a Super AMOLED display with the same FullHD resolution but pixel density is higher on the A5 due to a smaller screen. So if you want a crisper screen then go for A5 but if you want a larger screen then E7 is a better option. Both of these phones have Dual-SIM support.

These devices are powered by a Quad Core Snapdragon 410 processor which is paired with 2GB RAM which should be sufficient to run these devices run smoothly. The camera is also identical, both boast a 13 Megapixel primary camera sensor which is capable of taking great shots. The 5 Megapixel front camera ensures that these phones qualify as "Selfie phones". The phones come with 16GB of internal memory which can be expanded upto 64GB by using a microSD card. Surprisingly, Samsung Galaxy A5 supports 4G connectivity and NFC (Near Field Communication) while the Galaxy E7 misses out on it. One should not be bothered much since 4G services are under development and NFC has limited applications.

On the battery front, E7 features a large 2950mAh battery while A5 has a 2300mAh battery. Both these devices should run for a day on a single charge, the tad bigger battery in E7 will not last much longer because of a larger screen. So you can buy either of them depending on your requirements.
