The Redmi Note and the Yu Yureka are priced the same, making them the obvious choice for a comparison. The Redmi Note is an entry level phablet from Xiaomi whereas the Yureka is the latest hotseller by Yu a subsidiary of Micromax mobile. The Yureka comes with CyanogenMod 11 on top of Android 4.4 Kitkat. Yu has also promised an update to CyanogenMod 12 which is based on Android 5.0 Lollipop hence the Yu Yureka wins some points here. MIUI by Xiaomi has the option to use themes and change the appearance of the phone while CyanogenMod also offers customizations.
