LG V30 Features

Introduction:

LG has launched the much-anticipated V30 as the 2nd flagship of the year after the launch of G6 earlier this year at MWC. Similar to G6, this one also supports the company's signature FullVision display and sports a dual rear camera setup. The V30, however, gets a bigger 6 inches display.

Display & Hardware:

Talking about specs, the LG V30 sports a Quad HD OLED display with a resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels. Similar to the predecessor V20, the LG V30 also sports a secondary always-on display positioned right about the primary one. Under the hood, the phone draws its power from the Qualcomm's latest octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor.

Accompanying the chipset, the phone gets 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. You can also grab a 128GB variant which the company likes to call LG V30+. For security and unlocking the device, the phone also puts on a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Apart from the fingerprint scanner, LG has also included the facial recognition support to unlock the device. It runs the Android 7.1.2 Nougat and is expected to get the Android Oreo update soon.

Camera:

For photography, the LG V30 sports a dual rear camera setup comprising a 16-megapixel standard lens along with a 120-degree 13-megapixel wide-angle lens. The phone is also touted to capture more light and offer sharper crisp image output even in low-light conditions, thanks to LG's revolutionary f/1.6 aperture lens. Up front, the phone flaunts a 5-megapixel shooter with an aperture size of f/2.2.

Battery & Connectivity:

Powering all, there sits a 3,330mAh battery backed with Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 to fill up the tank quickly. For charging, the phone sports a USB Type-C port as well as support wireless charging. Talking about the connectivity, the V30 supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, and 3.5mm audio jack.
