Motorola Moto E XT1022 Features

After the massive success of Moto G, Motorola has launched a watered down version — the Moto E — to attract an even higher number of first-time smartphone buyers. Like its big brother, even this device is value for money and beats its rivals in terms of specs. In terms of looks, it looks similar to Moto G and is available in colourful shells. The smartphone features a 4.3 inch qHD (960x540 pixels) IPS Display, which boils down to a pixel density of 256PPI, which is decent for a phone of this price range. The display should be fairly crisp. Like the Moto G, the Moto E too has a nano coating on the inside as well as the outside, which can protect is against the accidental splash of water. Under the hood, there is a 1.2GHz Dual-core Snapdragon 200 (ARM Cortex A7) processor and is backed by 1GB RAM, which ensures smooth multitasking on this beast. Additionally, the device has an Adreno 302 400 MHz single core graphics to handle the visuals. On the memory front, it has 4GB internal storage (which is half of Moto G’s internal storage) but can be expanded by upto 32GB using a microSD card. The memory card slot had been missing in the previous phones like the Moto G or the Moto X.

There is a 5 Megapixel snapper at the back which lacks flash. Unfortunately, it even misses on a secondary front facing camera, which is the only drawback of this budget smartphone. It comes a feature “Touch To Capture” — which helps to capture images by clicking anywhere on the screen. It packs the latest Android v4.4 Kitkat, with a promise to get timely software updates, whenever the next big version of Android launches. This handy device supports Dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) along with 3G connectivity. Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS etc are also included. The 1980mAh battery is powerful enough to juice this smartphone for a day.

I have been using Motorola Moto E since past 2 years. My experience with this phone is very good. When I bought this phone it was the latest launch in the market. The phone was fast without any lag. But now it do lags while running 2 apps simultaneously. Very good phone if you are looking for good feature in less cheap price.

The Bad
