Talk about Oppo Mobile Phones, ask your questions!

Registered in 2001, Oppo is an electronics manufacturer based out of Guangdong in China. The brand is best known for its line of MP3 players, Portable Media Players as well as smartphones. Oppo has recently ventured into the headphones and amplifier space too, both of which have been really appreciated by people who are in the know of the audio quality. Being a truly global brand, Oppo has registered brands in several countries including India, Vietnam, Thailand and more. Add to it, Oppo supplies devices in countries like the United States, Australia, China, parts of Europe, Africa and South Eastern Asia. With a strong focus on design and smart technology, Oppo has a strong focus on bringing quality personal technology products to its users.

It was only in 2008 that Oppo ventured into the mobile space and since then has come up with a product line up with several noteworthy devices. The Oppo N line of phones have been taken positively by the customers as well as the technology critics. The Oppo N1 especially was really appreciated for its swivelling camera which was truly a product of some innovative thinking as well as good engineering. Beyond the N line of devices, it is the Oppo Find 7 and Find 7a which are credited for being the best smartphones to come out of Oppo's labs. With sleek design, a very unique LED notification and bumped up specifications, the Find 7 definitely was one of the best flagships to come out at its time.

Post the Find 7, Oppo announced the Oppo R5, which is one of the thinnest smartphones out there, measuring a slim 4.85 mm on the body. However, it was a projecting camera module that really put some question marks over the claim of it being the slimmest phone in the world, even though Vivo X5 Max had beaten its record irrespective of the camera argument. Oppo has also done some interesting work with its accessories, and the remote shutter button of the Oppo N1 remains one of the first products of its kind. Most of the Oppo smartphones come with what is called the Color OS, which is Oppo's proprietary skin on top of Android. Oppo has also been credited to being the garage out of where the popular tech startup, OnePlus was born out of, and in fact was used as one of the manufacturing partners for OnePlus One devices. Oppo also invested heavily in its own promotion in India by hiring Bollywood stars Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor as its brand ambassadors. Oppo competes with other South-East Asia based phone makers like Vivo, Gionee, Lenovo etc, that have products with a premium price tag in India.
