Mobile Phones Overview and Key Features

The Galaxy Fame is just one of the many handsets Samsung has currently flooded in the upper entry-level segment. It is in fact, not all that different from the Galaxy Young S6312. It's got a slightly larger 3.5-inch display bearing the same HVGA (320 x 480 pixel) resolution, which actually results in the lowering of the pixel density. Both are powered by a 1GHz single-core processor, and funnily the Galaxy Fame comes with just 512MB of RAM, where the Young Duos had 768MB of RAM. Funny, because the Young is priced a little lower than the Fame. Moving on, there's 4GB of internal memory and a microSD card slot to expand for storing media. Camera is one department where the Galaxy Fame shines when compared to its cousin — there's a 5 megapixel sensor with an LED flash and even a front-facing VGA resolution camera. There's a 1300 mAh battery powering the handset, which we guess should do fine looking at the low-end specs of the phone.
