Tablets Overview and Key Features

The Galaxy Tab2 311 (P3110) is the WiFi variant of the Tab2 310 (P3100). So, it loses the ability to make phone calls, or to use high-speed 3G connectivity. You can connect to the internet using WiFi 802.11n. The tablet has a comfortable size and weighs just 345 grams. Rest is almost exactly the same, it houses the same 7-inch 1024 x 600 pixel display. The P3110 is powered by an TI OMAP 4430 chipset, i.e. a dual core 1.2 GHz CPU. But, remember that the OMAP 4430 is a pretty old chipset now; a notch lower than the OMAP 4460 that was used in the Galaxy Nexus i9250. Still, with 1GB RAM and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, it should function reasonably for basic use. There's 16GB of built-in memory and a microSD card slot for expansion. There's a 3.15MP shooter at the back that too seemingly without auto-focus, so we wouldn't bother much with photo clarity. It records videos in 720p HD resolution. There's a standard VGA camera at the front for video calls. A 4000 mAh battery claims to keep this device in standby for over a month.
