The Sony Xperia Acro S is a new Android powered water and dust resistant handset announced by Sony in May 2012. This IP57 certified device boasts of an LED backlit, capacitive, scratch resistant, 720*1280 pixels screen that measures 4.3 inches across. The phone runs Android 4.0 and could be updated to Android 4.1 soon. The most important feature of the camera is its 12 megapixel camera that can also record videos in full HD resolution. There is a secondary front camera as well which can capture videos too in 720p resolution! Impressive! Under the hood, powering all these features is a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM 8260 chipset that houses a dual core Scorpion processor that runs at 1.5 GHz.
