In August, Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi launched its first-ever Smart TV, along with the Redmi Note 8, Redmi Note 8 Pro, and new Redmibook 14 models. While Redmi only offers its smart TV in a single size currently, the company may soon launch a 40-inch variant in China. The country’s 3C certification agency has certified a new Redmi TV variant with model number L40M5-RA. Additionally, 3C has certified an upcoming Xiaomi smartphone with model number M1910F4E. It is being speculated that the device could be the rumored Mi CC9 Pro.
A leak that had surfaced ahead of the launch of the Redmi TV earlier this year had claimed the 40-inch Redmi TV would also sport a 4K resolution panel. Similar to the 70-inch model, we expect the 40-inch Redmi TV to be priced quite aggressively as well. Apart from the model number of the 40-inch Redmi TV, the 3C listing also tells us that the model will have a 60Hz panel and rated power consumption of 55W.
The Xiaomi M1910F4E 3C listing, on the other hand, confirms the device will have 30W fast charging support. Even the name of the device hasn’t been confirmed, some are suggesting it could be a variant of the Mi CC9 Pro. In addition to 30W fast charging, the smartphone is expected to feature an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset and could be Xiaomi’s first phone to have a 108MP primary camera. While the rest of its specs haven’t been revealed yet, we will not have to wait very long to find out more. The smartphone is expected to be made official at an event in China tomorrow, i.e. October 24.
