- Motorola is gearing up to launch two G series phones in India
- Both Moto G53 5G and Moto G73 5G were spotted on the TRDA certification
Earlier this month, Moto X40 was released in China as the successor to the Moto X30. While we await for this phone to launch in India, the phone that was launched along with Moto X40 may be soon launching in India. Good folks at Mysmartprice have spotted Moto G53 5G and Moto G75G on the TRDA certification website. On UAE’s TDRA website, the Moto G53 5G was spotted with the model number XT2335-2. In addition to this, Moto G73 5G with the model number XT2337-2 was also spotted on the TDRA.
Both Moto G53 5G and Moto G73 5G have also cleared the Bureau of Indian Standard certification (BIS), which means that the India launch may be around the corner. Moto G53 5G has also appeared on the American FCC and Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) certifications. According to the FCC listing, Moto G53 5G global variant comes with a 5,000mAh battery and will support 10W charging, much like the Chinese counterpart.
Moto G53 5G specifications (expected)
This smartphone is expected to feature a 6.6-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The global variant is said to pack in Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor and has a triple-rear camera setup including a 50MP primary sensor. There is an 8MP secondary lens and a 2MP auxiliary sensor. For selfies, there is a 16MP front camera. The smartphone could come pre-loaded with Android 13.
In China, the Moto G53 costs RMB 899 (approx Rs 10,700) for 4GB+128GB and RMB 1099 (approx Rs 13,100) for 8GB+128GB.
