Acer today announced two new all-in-one desktops: the Aspire U27 and Aspire Z24. Both of them boast of a sleek design, 7th-gen Intel core processors, and Windows 10 operating system. They also come enabled with Acer’s LiquidLoop fanless cooling system for optimal heat dissipation.
The Aspire U27 boasts of a mammoth 27-inch 1080p wide viewing angle display and customised subwoofer for added multimedia entertainment. Design-wise, it flaunts a 12mm thin chassis along with the metal stand. For security, it features Windows Hello with a fingerprint reader, thanks to Windows 10.
The Aspire Z24, on the other hand, delivers an 11mm thin chassis along with the back cover. It also runs Nvidia’s GeForce 940MX graphics under the hood for gaming.
Both the devices come enabled with Acer’s ExaColor colour correction technology to enhance its accuracy. Packing Acer’s BlueLightShield technology out of the box filters out the blue colour to minimise eye strain while reading in low light. They also come enabled with Dolby audio premium.
The Aspire U27 will be up for grabs in North America starting at $1,099 (Rs 70,565). The Aspire Z24, on the other hand, will cost starting $899 (Rs 57,723).
“The cooling system has enabled us to create the Aspire U27’s award-winning ultra slim design, allowing it to shine as a modern piece of home décor, yet quiet enough to not distract,” Acer made a statement.
