Acer Spin 7 has launched in India. It had debuted at last year’s IFA 2020 in September. The device was the world’s first laptop powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 platform.
Now the Acer Spin 7 has arrived as the first 5G enabled laptop in India. It is a premium offering with a 360-degree convertible design. The Indian variant has the same specifications as its global counterpart. Read on to find out what the laptop offers out of the box.
Acer Spin 7 specifications and features
The Acer Spin 7 sports a 14-inch IPS display bearing an FHD+ resolution and 250 nits brightness. It supports touchscreen functionality and the screen is shielded with Corning Gorilla Glass. Since this is a convertible laptop, it can be used in various form factors like tablet or tent mode. The machine comes with a dockable Wacom AES 1.0 stylus pen with 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity.
The Acer Spin 7 features a magnesium-aluminium alloy build. It comes with a fingerprint scanner and a 720p HD webcam.
Under the hood, the Acer Spin 7 houses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 processor paired with Adreno 485 GPU. The device packs 8GB LPDDR4 RAM and offers 512GB UFS storage. The chipset offers 5G connectivity with support for both mmWave and sub-6GHz frequencies.
The Acer Spin 7 draws its power from a 56Wh battery unit that is claimed to last for up to 29 hours on a single charge. It runs on Windows 10 Pro out of the box. Connectivity options on the laptop include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, two USB-C ports and a USB-A port.

The Acer Spin 7 is priced at Rs 1,34,999. The laptop is offered in Steam Blue colour and available for purchase from Acer Exclusive stores, Acer online store and other partner stores across the country.
