At CES earlier this year, Acer had launched the Swift 3 series in 13.5 and 14-inch variants. The former is powered by 10th gen Intel Core processors while the latter is equipped with AMD Ryzen 4000 series chipsets. Now the Taiwanese brand has brought the Swift 3 14-inch model to the Indian market.
In a press statement, Chandrahas Panigrahi CMO, Acer India said, “We are also extremely proud to be the first ones in India to launch a laptop with AMD Ryzen™ 4000 series processor specially designed for mobile working”. Let’s take a look at what the laptop offers out of the box:
Acer Swift 3 specifications and features
The Acer Swift 3 sports a 14-inch display bearing full HD resolution and an 82.73 percent screen-to-body ratio. Design-wise, the laptop features a premium build with an ultra-thin magnesium-aluminium chassis. On the weighing scale, the Swift 3 measures 1.2kg. In terms of audio, the laptop is equipped with DTS Audio and micro-speaker distortion prevention. The Acer Swift 3 also features a fingerprint scanner for securely unlocking the device.
Under the hood, the Acer Swift 3 is powered by the AMD Ryzen 4000 series mobile processor with Radeon graphics. It packs up to 16GB LPDDR4 RAM and up to 1TB NVMe storage. The Swift 3 offers up to 11 hours of battery life on a single charge. There is support for fast charging, and Acer claims this can deliver 4 hours of battery with a 30 minute charge. The laptop runs Windows 10 and comes with a Wake on Voice (WoV) feature that enables users to activate the OS with their voice, even when the screen is off.
Connectivity options on the Acer Swift 3 include a USB-C port, USB 3.2 Gen 1, USB 2.0, dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.
Acer Swift 3 price in India
The Acer Swift 3 is being offered in Silver colour option and the pricing starts at Rs 59,990 for the 8GB RAM and 512GB storage configuration. The laptop is available for purchase on the Acer e-store and at authorised retail outlets.
